This Cookie & Tracking Notice explains how Samantha Diaz DBA The Hot Mess Collective (“THMC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies, analytics, tags, pixels, referral attribution, and related technologies on thehotmesscollective.com.

Not every service listed below necessarily places a cookie directly on your device. Some technologies process technical, usage, transaction, or interaction information through scripts, integrations, server-side systems, or the provider’s own technology.

Squarespace

THMC’s website is hosted on Squarespace.

Squarespace may use cookies and similar technologies for website operation, security, fraud prevention, preferences, ecommerce functionality, analytics, and technical performance.

THMC also uses Squarespace’s built-in website analytics to understand information such as page traffic, referral sources, and general website activity.

Metricool

THMC uses Metricool for website and social media measurement.

Depending on its configuration and your interaction with THMC content, Metricool may process technical or interaction information associated with website visits, social activity, campaigns, or referral traffic.

Email providers may measure information such as delivery, opens, clicks, or other engagement using their own technology and settings.

Workflow systems may process submitted information without necessarily placing tracking cookies on your device.

Ecommerce and payments

When you purchase a THMC product or service, Squarespace and the payment provider presented at checkout may use cookies or related technologies for cart functionality, checkout, fraud prevention, transaction processing, security, and payment attribution.

Payment services may include Squarespace Payments, Stripe, or another provider shown in the applicable checkout flow.

Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Affiliate and referral tracking

THMC participates in affiliate, referral, and partner programs.

When you follow a qualifying affiliate, referral, or partner link, the destination provider may use cookies, referral codes, tags, URL parameters, account identifiers, or other attribution technology to determine whether a purchase or signup resulted from the THMC referral.

The duration and operation of that tracking are controlled by the third-party provider.

THMC does not control third-party attribution technologies after you leave the THMC website.
